Our five campuses present students with opportunities to network, socialize and participate in events and clubs that put their leadership skills and academic knowledge to work.

1. High School students can take courses at HFC through our dual enrollment, advancement plus, Collegiate Academy and Early College programs. HFC welcomes more than 2,000 students in these programs each semester. These students enjoy the same access to services and resources as all other HFC college students.
2. Collegiate Academy students can purchase any graduation regalia except Collegiate Academy Stoles from any of the bookstores listed below. Collegiate Academy Stoles will be available for purchase at the Brandon, Dale Mabry and Southshore campus bookstores only.

The second Hillsborough Choice Options Application Window opens at 5 PM on March 5 and closes at 11:59 PM on March 25.

School Options

At Hillsborough Schools, parents can choose from various schools based on their child’s interests and way of learning. Options can be based on location, curriculum, interests or system of learning (either brick-and-mortar or virtual schools, for example).

Your Attendance Area School is the school zone assigned based on your home address. Find zoned school and enter your address to see the elementary, middle and high schools for which your child is zoned.

Schools with theme-based curriculum, rigorous academic instruction by specially-trained teachers and lottery-based applications.

Schools with additional programs available to students beyond the school’s zoned boundaries. Students may need to meet special criteria for acceptance.

Schools with space available are open for parents with children entering grades K-11 to choose non-magnet Choice and Hardship schools or School Attractor Programs.

How do I go about choosing a school for my child?

If you wish for your children to attend the school where they are zoned, you do not need to do anything except register directly with that school. For Choice, Magnet or Choice Hardship schools, apply during open application periods. All School Choice and Career and Technical School applications are subject to a computer lottery to choose applicants.
