Configuring V10 Microsoft Remote Desktop Client For Mac

Microsoft Remote Desktop Error Code 0x4 Mac.

First, some backgrounds, Microsoft used to bundle Remote Desktop Client in Office 2011. That means you can only remote desktop to Windows machine if you have purchased a copy of Office 2011 for Mac. This limits the number of Mac users to be able to Remote Desktop into a Windows PC. What worked for me was adding a local account in Windows (e.g., see Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10; I called mine RDPUser with a password I assigned and also made the user an administrator) and then adding that login to remote desktop users. This does mean you will have a different login when logged in via remote.

It's 2021 and time for our first release of the year. In this version we made the following changes:
• Addressed an issue where the UI would stop resolving a workspace name during subscription.
• Fixed an in-session bug where graphics updates would stall while input continued to be sent.
• Resolved a number of reliability issues identified through crash reporting.
Thanks to everyone who reported bugs and worked with us to diagnose and fix issues. If you encounter any errors, you can contact us via Help > Report an Issue.
